The Hunting of the Snark

At Imago Theatre / 17 SE 8th Ave, Portland, Oregon 97214
Lewis Carroll (author of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland") once wrote what he referred to as an 'agony in eight fits' entitled, "The Hunting of the Snark".
Entirely in verse, this story recounts the tale of 10 sailors as they set out on a journey to capture the elusive snark.
How does one capture such a thing?
Well...
"You may seek it with thimbles--and seek it with care;
You may hunt it with forks and hope;
You may threaten its life with a railway-share;
You may charm it with smiles and soap..."
Join the Bellman, the Boots, the maker of Bonnets and Hoods, the Barrister, the Broker, the Billiard Marker, the Banker, the Baker, the Butcher, and, of course, the Beaver, on their nonsensical journey! There will be masks! There will be dance! There will be drama!

The Cast:
Katelyn Blockinger
Corinne Gaucher

Featuring the voice of Noelle Eaton

On the evening of October 27th, we will be joined by the amazing experimental fusion dance prowess of Allegro PDX!
For our matinee show, we will be offering a discounted performance of our show to allow for families with younger, less... attentive children to attend. And yes, our show is entirely appropriate for children! Imagine that!
Tickets are $15.00 for the evening performances and $10.00 for the matinee (what a deal!).
All ticket sales go toward paying our performers!
That said, if you are a little down on your luck right now, but really want to see the show, feel free to message Wind-Up Theatre, and we'll see what we can do for you. Because art is meant to be experienced.

More info! Tickets at the door!
